DiGiCo consoles handle Alex Warren tour

Front-of-house engineer James Butera is using the Quantum338 alongside two SD-Racks, two Orange Boxes and an SD-Mini. The system now handles 64 channels of Dante, B-stage inputs and outputs, and extensive MADI, analogue and AES connectivity, with Butera saying he has almost exhausted the console’s available DSP.
Monitor engineer Rob Brazinski is using the Quantum7 to manage around 95-96 inputs, including the band, talkbacks, communications, video and playback. The console provides 16 dedicated mix outputs feeding 20 transmitters, while its additional fader banks and metres give Brazinski more control over the expanding production.
The Quantum consoles are also being used extensively for onboard processing, with both engineers relying on DiGiCo’s Mustard and Spice Rack processing and internal effects.
